Reading task.

It was midday in Ibarra. Leonardo and his friends doing different things. The weather was fantastic. the sky was  blue and the birds were singing on the trees even the butterflies were very happy and were flying in circles in the air. Two frogs were jumping in the river, and of course,  Leonardo's dogs were also jumping because at last Leonardo and Mariuxi were together. Everything was perfect, Dylan was fishing in the river because there was going to be a party that night to celebrate Leonardo and Mariuxi union. Amelia and Nuria were preparing saucepain to cook the fish which Dylan was trying to fish. Said was washing the clothes to wear at the party that night. Mariuxi was brushing her hair to put it up in a bun. Michael was riding his horse because there was going to be a competition and he wanted to win it. Leonardo was reading a book but he fell asleep under a tree. Everything was ready for that night's celebration. I'm sure they had a fantastic time with all the preparations.

Then, one night about 20 years later _________ I was waiting for a bus. I saw a dollar bill on the street. I picked it up and my name was on it! It was the same bill we wrote on! ________ I think of it now, I'm amazed! 

La palabra "when" no solo se utiliza para hacer preguntas, también se usa para referirse a una acción corta en tiempo pasado.

El ejemplo dice: Yo estaba mirando la televisión "cuando" Jim tocó la puerta.

La palabra "while" se usa para referirse a una acción larga en tiempo pasado contínuo.

El ejemplo dice:

"Mientras" yo estaba mirando la televisión, Jim tocó la puerta. 

En este caso:

When = cuando

While = mientras
