Imbabura-A Great Place to Visit
Imbabura is a tourist’s Paradise. Its climate is varied. It has interesting towns, nice mountains, rivers, valleys, wonderful lakes and magic waterfalls.
The capital of Imbabura is Ibarra. It’s a beautiful city. It is home to people from all over the world.
There are some tourist attractions you can visit in this city.
Such as parks with historical monuments, shops where you can buy lots of things, dance clubs where you can hang out with friends, markets and supermarkets. You can also visit La Plaza Shopping Center and the new Laguna Mall on Mariano Acosta Avenue across from my school.
There isn’t an airport but there is a big and new Boulevard, where people can go jogging, playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, or rollerblading, cycling; skateboarding, or watching shows on weekends.
If you like to travel by train, you can do it. It is a wonderful experience from Ibarra to Salinas, where an Afro-Ecuadorian Community waits for you. The train station is next to the Amazonas Market. The bus station is near this market too.
.
As you can see, Imbabura Mountain is the highest one near Ibarra. It is about 4.630 meters above sea level. If you like extreme sports, you can practice paragliding from its top and also can see the last condors flying over the mountains. It is a fascinating experience.
Now, my mates are going to take a virtual tour through this Province. We hope you enjoy it.
